I had pretty high expectations for our trek over to Manny’s last night to celebrate my birthday. Specifically, I was hoping for the best steak of my life. I can’t say I got that, but it was pretty damn good anyway.

I ordered a 24 oz Porterhouse and Jess had the Filet Mignon. We also shared an enormous baked potato. Together with a few beers, a cup of wine and our “brownie” (more like 1/4 of a 3 layer chocolate cake) the total bill came to $150. That’s really not a terrible price. If you want to drool a little bit, head over to Manny’s Website and check out their interactive Meat Cart. You can take a good look at some of the delicious beef that we were faced with last night. Oh, and the best steak I’ve ever had was at Fleming’s in San Diego. I think if I had chosen the Ribeye at Manny’s it may have topped it. I’ll have to go back
Whoa, when’s your birthday? Mine was June 19th. We’re like sisters!
