Mapping your running route

So I was trying to find something that would let me map the path I run on since it doesn’t exactly follow marked roads and I stumbled across the Google Maps Pedometer. This thing lets you put as many points on the map as you want, and just calculates the straight-line distance between them. It’s remarkably simple really, but it seems to do an excellent job and they provide you with a permalink to share your route after the fact

Here’s my running route: permalink

Of course, if you’re like me maybe you think your route is more like 2 miles instead of 1.83 miles and you’ll just be disappointed. In my defense, there are a lot of hills…

I’m a wimp.

it does the same thing, but is MUCH more refined. sucks it’s ad based, but, what isn’t? even gives you elevation info – for those hills! highly recommended.
